What is the Pi K?

The Pi K is designed to be accessible, flexible, and joyful.

Participants can:

• Join an in-person event at a host site
• Participate virtually from anywhere
• Walk, run, or move at their own pace

Across the country, schools and organizations host local Pi K events, often featuring Pi Day-themed activities that celebrate the beauty and fun of mathematics.

The Pi Day Pi K isn’t just about the distance, it’s about the difference. Proceeds from the Pi K support the Math Medic Foundation and its mission to expand access to meaningful math experiences.

Host a Pi K at your school

• Support from the Math Medic Foundation team
